enhanced data visualization with Microsoft Power BI
Magpi has a great set of built-in data visualization tools, but we know that many of our customers use external data visualization tools to analyze and present their Magpi data. This could be because they need an advanced visualization not found in Magpi, or maybe their organization has standardized on a standalone data visualization product, and they prefer to use a tool they already know.
Among the most common of these standalone tools is Microsoft’s Power BI, which has gotten rave reviews for ease of use and functionality. PC Magazine gushes:
When a platform is this strong, however, the product must match expectations, and Microsoft Power BI does exactly that. Microsoft Power BI does a fantastic job of combining power analytics with a user-friendly user interface (UI) and remarkable data visualization capabilities.
While you’ve always been able to get your Magpi data into PowerBI the old-fashioned way: exporting a file then importing it into PowerBI, we’re very happy to announce that Magpi now has easy built-in integration with Power BI, via our API, that saves users several steps. Power BI users can pull form lists, question lists, and datasets right out of Magpi and use them to build individual graphs and charts, or a full-on data dashboard.
With no coding or technical skills needed. In just about a minute.
